How long will it take to get my web site completed and online?

For a typical 5 page static website I would allow 2-4 weeks for the site's completion dependant upon how much work needs to be done. For a more complex project it can take several weeks. When you contact me I will provide a more detailed estimate using the business specification information that we agree between us.

I have an existing web site and I would like to change how it looks. Can you do this?

Although web sites can be very flexible, the coding required to put it all together can be very complex. It's usually much easier to create a new web site from the ground up, rather than trying to modify someone else's code. This is usually my preference and usually offers better value for money to the client. However I am happy to discuss each project on a case by case basis.

Why do you charge less or more money for your website design services than other people?

There are many "web site designers" in the marketplace - they range from inexperienced teenagers looking to make a few extra pounds, to high-end consultancies that charge many thousands of pounds. I offer an affordable, high-quality custom web site design service along with the experience necessary to make your website successful. I believe I offer a balance of experience and value for money.

Are you available to take over maintenance of my web site which was designed by another company?

Yes; I am happy to quote for all sizes of project; small or large.

Do you offer Adobe Flash sites?

I am not currently offering Flash. My personal viiew is that Flash is overused on web sites. I believe in keeping a site clean, simple and easy to navigate.

Do you have any examples of the work that you've previously undertaken?

I do, but I can't show them because all of my previous work was undertaken whilst working for an ICT consultancy firm. URL WebDesign is a new freelance business that I have just started. As my client base grows I will add a portfolio of websites to this site; provided the clients agree.
